I have always had an interest in photography since a young age. I would spend many rolls of film snapping shots of my stuffed animals and the world as I saw it. A camera was almost always by my side as I went through my school years and eventually got married.

In 2005 I had my first baby and I took at least one photo of her every single day for years after. And as I snapped away my love of photography grew. Soon I was being asked to share my photo taking skills with family members and close friends. Purchasing a digital SLR camera was all it took to make this hobby an obsession. I developed a good eye for composition and a passion for capturing real life through the lens. I completed a photography course and began taking more and more shots and, as I shared them with my family and friends, the photo shoot requests started to pour in.

I love getting to know families and seeing the beauty in them as I capture their memories. I am easy going and like to make photo shoots as fun and easy as possible. I am honored that you would allow me to help stop time for just a moment and create snapshots of your life that will last forever.

I have two little redheads (pictured below) who keep me on my toes and with camera ready. You will see them on this site a lot because their crazy Mommy takes pictures of them on a daily basis!

My goal is to capture my subjects' true personality on film. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease and never rushed. I have an easy going personality and do well with children and babies. I will do everything I can to make sure your experience is one you are thrilled about and that your portraits can be treasured for years to come.

All photos from the session are given to you on a *CD along with a full photo release. They are your photos...so you can print as many as you like!

Pricing

SPECIAL Holiday Card Sessions: $75
(valid Oct 05-Dec 05)
Three different poses of entire family together for holiday cards. No individual shots included. You receive the best 5 photos from the shoot via email (in large format) within 2 days of shoot along with a release to print as many as you would like.

Newborn shoot: $100 (ages 0-3 mos.) Photos taken in your home on your baby's time table.

Kid Shoot: $125 (up to three kids)
Includes Individual photos of each child.

High School Senior Portraits: $125

Couples (Engagement/Anniversary): $125

Family Shoot: $150 (up to 6 people. $10 for each additional person)
Includes individual shot of each child and of parent or parents together.

Large Group: $200 (an additional $20 for each individual family shot)

In most cases you will receive your disc of finished photos within 1 week of the shoot date.

* One disc will be provided as a part of the package. You may make as many copies as you wish. If you would like me to burn additional copies for you, there will be a $5 charge per additional disc.

Locations All prices are for 60-90 minutes on location.

We go on location (weather permitting) or to an indoor location of your choice. This can be your home or a different residence, church, etc. You must have permission to shoot if you want your photos taken in a public building. Newborn Shoots are done in your home on your baby's schedule so we are sure to get the best shots.

I will shoot anywhere in Lancaster County for no additional fee. Outside of Lancaster County will require an additional $20 travel fee.

I have favorite outdoor spots to shoot, but if you have a favorite location that is great too! I love to get your suggestions and ideas about what you are looking for in your photo shoot.

Photo Editing

Photo editing is available for an additional fee.

- Small edits are a flat rate of $50 per shoot. All photos will be edited for blemishes, bruises, etc.

- Large edits are a flat rate of $100 per shoot and include head swaps, removal of background objects and all small edits so that everyone in your group shot looks their best!

Swap little boy's head from photo B and place it into photo A and you have a family picture that is filled with personality and where everyone is looking their best. Add a color boost (free with package) and it's ready to be framed and hung on the wall. (click to enlarge)
